I don't understand why people complain about this not being an easy course, you are taking a bio class to pursue a health field or a field in science. You have to work for your grade, if you don't want to major in liberal arts. She will get you ready for what's down the road so take her if you're serious about careers in that profession.

A lot of people have commented on how she teaches above their level....it is true. I took her for 1411 and 1412. I just completed a university microbiology class and did great. Nothing covered in the class had not been taught to me before by Ms.Cole. She is PREPARING us for what is to come. She gave me the SKILLZ!! WOOOOOOOOO, Ms. Cole!!!!!!!

Ms. Cole is not an easy teacher. There is nothing easy about this class. I got a high A but biology took over my life. I studied day and night. She gives a lot of extra credit but you have to work for it. I even got 104% once. I learned a lot from this class she really make sure you learn Biology amazing teacher. Would take her again if I could.

Professor Cole speaks to all her classes as if they were all colleagues with a PhD. She is VERY confusing. The first thing she told our class was that she knows how to teach and that anyone who says otherwise she would sue for slander. She does not teach well and makes it all harder that what it really is.

Mrs. Cole is very confusing and hard to understand. She teaches WAY beyond the textbook and has a hard time understanding why no one in her class gets what she's talking about. Unless you want to take a "graduate" class course and not get credit for one, I advise you to take your class elsewhere.

Very nice and knowledgeable professor. Very random and unorganized presentation of material confuses rather than clarifies. If you need structure and clearly presented step-by-step communication to learn you will not do well in her class.

I cant even begin to express my gratitude towards this teacher. Definitely my favorite professor ever. She was tough, but she wants you to KNOW biology, not just study for the test. I came out of that class with a love for biology. If you are serious about learning, take this teacher.

I am so glad NE campus has Ms.Cole.If you really want to know Biology, she is the one to take.She might be harder than the other prof,but you will be more knowledgeable and come out better when transferrig.That being said,I spent more time studying for this class than all of my other classes COMBINED.I took her for both semesters I liked her somuch

This teacher is a GENIUS. Unfortunately she tends to over explain questions which only confuses you more. She tests over what is discussed in class, not necessarily what the book thinks we are prepared to understand. She will clarify the "simplicities" in the book which makes everything way too complicated. She's nice, but hard.

Got into a car accident on the morning of the final, she wouldn't return my e-mails fast to set up a time were I could retake it. Resulted in me receiving a 0 for the final, my grade dropped from a 92 to a 77... You think she would care a bit more about her students' grades.

I respect her, because she obviously knows a lot about Biology and is very passionate about it. Her teaching style might work for some, but it just wasn't for me. Overall, she has a great quirky personality but her passion for Biology tends to make her lectures a bit... erratic (for a lack of better words).

This proffesor is something else. If you ARE NOT a science major please save your money, brain and time. She definitely loves this subject and she is unclear i often bring a dictionary just to define the describing words she uses. wayyyy to hard of a professor. save your time.

I find it hard to believe that this soon into the semester people are already trashing Prof. Cole. While it's true that she's not always the clearest in her lectures, reading the book and studying with other students is extremely helpful, and she is helpful as well. This is a majors class, it requires study and hard work!

This teacher is the worst of all, extremely unclear and her lecture are useless because they don't help you for the exams at all. Basically you have to do the studying on your own from the book. She is also mean if you have like an 79.5 she will not make it an 80 for the B, she will give you a C. Just take this class in any other campus.

Very cool professor, definitely knows her stuff. I can tell she has a great passion for biology, greater than mine. Don't take unless you're serious about pursuing a career in the field of Science/Medical. I'd advise recording her lectures, as she talks very fast. I dropped like a fly before it would take over my life.

She can be intimidating, but she's the best! Lives BIO & knows her stuff (this is a hard subject). Take her & her class seriously. If you're not interested in learning as much as possible, don't take her. Unclear at times so read the book. Will work w/you if you need help. Plus, she's just wacky; Her class was hard but fun! I kinda' miss her :(
