If you asked a question she would respond with " you should already know This. Wasn't very helpful, she was rude, gossips about prior students, and other professors. Spends half the class not teaching. She knows her stuff, but is not helpful if you have a questions.

Ms. Phelps was an amazing professor. I had her for a previous class in 2010 but I had a baby so I just started back this past summer. I decided to take her again because I knew the name. Her teaching style has changed from 7 years ago. She really focuses on her students and helps them pass. I got my first A in math in her class. Take her class!

She is a wonderful teacher, she does spend a lot of class time on random topics. When it comes time to teaching, she is great, if you didn't take 300 or 301 tell her and she will help you further. If you have a question on the quiz right it down and she will help you out. She wants you to communicate with her!! Please do so, she will help you!!!!

She is the best math teacher I've taken so far. Gossips a bit, but she is awesome explaining. has lots of patience and does not go to the next chapter until everybody understands. Math aint for me, but she explained really good and I got to enjoy my class

By far, the rudest instructor I have encountered at CTC. I asked a question about something my daughter taught me (pertaining to the class) and she very loudly responded, "yeah, and she'll probably end up in my remedial class someday." She belittles students and attempts to make us feel inferior. IF YOU NEED HELP, DO NOT TAKE THIS INSTRUCTOR!!

I hate her. She is beyond rude. She gossips, She talks about students business to the class if they aren't there. If you are confused on a question she will tell you straight up "it was in 0300 you should've learned it" she is horrible. People who says she's good is lying. had her for the summer and i regret it so much. waste of money and time.

Mrs. Phelps seems to grate on some students nerves; I think it depends on your type of humor. Some people find jokes about a student being mentally disabled for not grasping material to be in poor taste. She's a good teacher IF you are somewhat familiar with the material. Otherwise, she WILL make fun of you if you don't get it.

She was complete garbage, got stuck with her the second half of summer semester. She's only concerned about talking about her life, usually takes thirty minutes to start class. When she does teach she's condescending and rude. It's either her way or it's wrong. If you pick her, it's a huge mistake and waste of money!!

Will not take her class again. What you read here is very true. I wish I knew about this website prior to taking her class. One day she literally talked about bs for 45 minutes and then quickly did a few lessons on the board for the remainder 20 minutes,and that was on most days. I advice you not to take her. Good person, terrible teacher.

She does not teach. She talks about her weekend. She knows math, but she does not explain the material as if we can all learn. She seems to think that some students can not learn so they should not be in the class. Thank goodness I did okay.
