VERY challenging. Class average on test #3 was a 61... Goes over examples in class very fast. Needs to go over concepts but doesn't. Nice in office hours. The other teacher sounded easier.

She is an amazing professor. Clear and organized. Teaches in a way that is effective for both visual and auditory learners. Homework is difficult and plentiful, but makes studying for exams a breeze. Anyone who says she doesn't give A's is just bitter about not getting one. If you get Larochelle for a class, consider yourself very fortunate.

She keeps you on track with the homework assignments and makes them fun by assigning daily online quizzes. She is easy to contact and is quite helpful and friendly during office hours. She interacts well with the students. I really learned a great deal in her class and fell in love with physics. The class is challenging, but fun.

Great teacher in general. Very nice person too. She writes very hard questions on the tests. Don't take her if you want an A, because she doesn't believe in it.

She doesn't explain things very well in class. She goes over a lot of examples, which is good, but she doesn't explain the basic concepts behind them first leaving you confused. She does EVERYTHING on the computer, from her lectures to her homework assignments; something I'm not a fan of. Begrudgingly, she'll meet with you at office hours.

way to hard for a foundations. she is nice and sweet, but kind of has a big ego. she assigns alot of writing and grades it hard, when she should know people are just taking informed opinions to satify a science requirement.

When it comes to making sure you understand the material, no professor comes close to Larochelle. Even if you don't get the material after one of her great lectures, she's more than happy to help you one-on-one. By far one of the best overall profs I've ever had. Take her for a class if you can!

Extremely nice professor, and a very easy grader, though I only had for the lab portion of this class. Her only downside was that she really made the labs longer than they should have been by drawing them out and making sure everyone worked at the same, slow pace.

A surprisingly good professor. She is very well organized, and teaches well. Her exams are challenging, but easy if you did the homework. The homework is TOUGH. She is a bit nerdy, however that is 2nd next to her excellent lectures. She can really teach concepts to make them habit. Excellent.

Great professor. She knows her stuff cold and presents the basic stuff without alot of mathematical gibberish. Although if you ask her individualy for advanced help, she is more then happy to give it. Very good, interesting professor.
