Clare is one of the best profs I've had. Her dedication to her students and what they get out of her class is unparalleled. She makes herself constantly available, takes the time to give THOROUGH feedback on every essay, & the material (short stories) is top-notch & provocative. Her teaching style & 10AM enthusiasm turned me into a morning person!

I have Clare this semester for Spanish 277. She is, without a doubt, my favorite teacher. She recognizes each student's abilities and caters to everyone individually and personally. I'm a good Spanish student, but I'm still improving tremendously in this class. Most importantly, she makes me excited to learn Spanish. Bottom line: take her class.

I was skeptical on whether or not I would continue my Spanish in college, but once I tested into this class I thought I would give it a shot. She has renewed my faith in both the ability of teachers, and my love of the Spanish Language. Her passion and her facility with language shine through, and I cannot recommend this class enough.

Clare is an amazing professor. She cares deeply for her students and really engages everyone in class. Her classes are not the easiest, but your spanish skills will greatly improve. She is very energetic and always willing to meet up outside of class. I would definitely recommend her.

I had Clare for Spanish class years ago. She was an incredible teacher-- She not only spoke Spanish like a native (even though she's English-born), but she's also very much wants you to do well and will help you out no matter what.Clare, if you're reading this, Thanks for everything!
