Took it online and was actually not too bad. The MyEducator lessons are really easy and don't take that long. The three "exams" she gives are another thing. The readings she gives you makes sense, but then in the tests she'll ask off the wall questions. As long as you pay attention to the little things you'll be fine

Atleast there are no tests, but you do have to buy subscription to a website to do homework. Class can be done with a mac or PC. Free citrix server access. She is very strict about her tests, but they can be done. Do the reading for the 3 main tests and get them done early if you can! Oftentimes there were problems with the tests.

This course was ridiculously easy. Sure, everything is outdated for the most part, but who cares? It's an easy A. Tests are easy, homeworks are easy, and the final project isn't too bad at all. Again, easy A and no book needed!

You won't believe how a professor would ever rate students' work like this. She gives everyone who she thinks should deserve a failing grade on the project a 5 out of 15. This grade directly pull you one level down. No grading criteria, no room for argument, because she says" It's the same as tutorial."

The class itself is doable but some of the chapters will definitely be harder than others. The class is split into reading exams and ExcelAccess applications. I recommend printing out the readings for those exams because it can be hard to decide what will be important on the tests. Some application chapters are trickier than others.

You will learn more about web design, and actually building websites from sites like codecademy. Still teaches about html 4.0 and how XHTML is the next best thing. I doubt the class has been revamped since she first started teaching it.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Seriously, I know most people think that reviews like these mean just the one person had a bad time with a teacher, but EVERYBODY hated her. Assignments are scattered in 3 different places, you have to search for due dates, Excel files won't open on Mac and she doesn't care, and she won't help you fix the problem.

Took this class online as my first online class. I would suggest that everyone take the class in person. You get so much more out of it. The online course moves very quickly with two or three lessons due per week. Each lesson takes several hours to complete. If you're an online class master then you should be fine, if not then stay away.

The 1st half of course is easy. 2nd part is all VBA and this is where her direction sucks. Essay questions in an excel exam? - you bet; this coupled with no rubric for your project leads to subjective grading. When you do ask for help, she repeats herself. Very frustrating. Good thing is grading is weighted in your favor.

Since it was an 'A' session course, there was a lot of work crammed into the few weeks you have. I was basically doing assignments every other day. The tests are really hard. You need to be computer savvy. The positive was you could work ahead of the class if you preferred.

The online class is riddled with glitches that seriously hurt your grades. Overall, the course was manageable and I feel like I learned a lot. I like that you could basically work at your own pace, including working ahead if you needed to.

Apparently could care less when students provide feedback. Exam questions are stupidly vague. Much material is basically recycled from CIS 105. Easy A, but would avoid taking any of her classes if I could.

THis professor was by far the worst I have had for computer science and the pace was staggering to me.. the amount of classwork that she expected completed was hilarious not to mention the methods used to make excel formulas. Super retarded. would never take another course through her again. EVER.

Do NOT take this class online with her, the way her grading is set up it MAKES NO SENSE!!! Dont even bother emailing her with a question because she'll just tell you to look at the syllabus and wont help you at all! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!

Course material was probably easy, but don't bother taking the practice tests if you already know the material, they don't end up being counted into your final grade, although it will look like it will, I found out the hard way. Didn't seem to get much help when I asked questions regarding difficulty in lessons and had no explanation about my grade

I took this class online and I've taken 3 computer classes before but somehow none of them transferred. If you know how to use Excel and Access it's a piece of cake. Just do the MyEducator lessons and a reading exam every couple weeks. I found it to be pretty easy.

She handles an excel assignment portion of FIN300 and I really wish she didn't. Her instructions and videos are hard to follow and she is very unpleasant. She gives NO feedback on grades. I emailed her a few times and she was very rude. Having her handle a small portion of this course would make me STAY AWAY from her other classes.

Honestly the class was fine despite what others have said. The simnet test are replaced with another program. The professor has obviously improved the class and is continuing to do so. I've never taken a class like this before and I thought it was more tedious then it was difficult. Do the work and you'll be fine!:)

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! She is not helpful at all, I emailed her a question and she basically told me to google it. Lectures are painful to listen to and are not informative on what we are supposed to do. There is also a ridiculous amount of assignments due. Could have been a great class... but this terrible teacher ruined it.
