Comment:

The online course was pretty simple--every week you get a "module" that you have to read (take notes as well), write in a discussion, and take a quiz. I'm a slow reader but I got them all done. When the software was down she extended the deadline thankfully! There was also a short 3-5 page paper due on a topic relating to religion.

Enthusiastic about the material. Lectures and class discussions were always interesting. Dropped the lowest test grade (tests were pretty easy). 1 or 2 papers which she was happy to provide feedback on. A lot of readings, some quite dense, but always discussed the material in class (she even canceled a reading whose difficulty she underestimated).

I took the online class and it was a lot of work. But it was very easy. Just keep up with the weekly, exams and modules. You'll be fine. Also we wrote 3-4 pg paper which was easy. I encountered problems with my CD-ROM however, prof eller did make my deadlines to a later date. She's very nice and helpful. I recommend her greatly!

This is a really cool class and if you make the effort to meet with her, it'll go even better. You'll get a good experience and learn a lot. Eller is really funky and sweet. It's annoying to read so much, but you can get a high grade if you do the work. It's your GPA after all!

Such a useless class. She makes you do hours and hours every single week on a diff religion. If you miss one slide you get an F. I spent more hours doing this homework then any other class I've ever had in my life.

Online Class, alot of work, but its all on a cd and tests are on blackboard, so if you put in the effort you can have the class done in 3 weeks. I would definetly take her again for another class. Highly recommended!!!

She's awesome. If you honestly need anything, just swing her an email and she responds within the day. People seem to forget that this IS an online course so they're too lazy to remember they have work. Just keep at it at your own pace and take notes. Participation on the discussion board is a big part of your grade, but its nothing bad. JUST WORK!

This class wasn't awful. It was a hybrid course, so class met every other week but I only went to 2 classes the whole semester because it was SO boring. Theres a decent amount of work for this class but its great that you can do it from home. The tests are not easy so you do have to read the modules. This takes a lot of time.

seemed very nice and helpful, but the class was terrible. a hybrid course, class met every 2 weeks. if you have a mac book dont take the class unless you are willing to use the library computers a ton, the cd rom never worked in my mac, half the words never showed up. theres a ton of reading and exams. i was so behind i had to drop.

don't bother spending too much time on the modules because you only have 30 minutes to complete tests that are VERY in detail. you have about 12 online tests and one paper, and you also need to participate in the discussion board on black board. The class is annoying but not impossible if you do the work. She's a little out there though

Very easy online class, but some of the units were very long & tedious. The info was so easy though, the tests were easy, and attendance was just participating in a discussion board. It seemed like a lot of work, but it was very easy work and I learned a lot about the world. The teacher was always quick to respond to email and discussions, too!

This woman is Satan. Her cd-rom takes forever to do she does not care about computer problems even though it is her fault for coming up with the ridiculous cd-rom. She is not understanding and on top of that she has a bad attitude. DO THE WORK AND TRY NOT TO HAVE ANY EMERGENCY SITUATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

The entire class was online meaning you didnt have to go to an actual class (distance learning course i think it's called). You complete sections and online exams by a certain time and get a grade. The course is easy if you keep up and participate on the message board. She's kind of mean in her e-mails but you never have to see her face to face.

i took her for religions of the world. the textbook and homework were on cd-rom (which made the reading and homework kind of annoying because you had to submit them online) -- overall a nice woman and a good professor, if you have to take a religion class, take hers!
