His exams were ridiculously difficult, he had good intentions for this course but it was disorganized. The final is definitely killer, so if you thought you were faring well during the semester, be ready for the final it'll drop your grade significantly.

Dr. Belliveau is a highly effective professor, but I found that his expectations of the class were unrealistic. For instance, a cumulative final exam was unnecessary, particularly when students were also expected to dedicate much of their time to multiple group projects throughout the term. Many were in a position where something had to give.

Dr. B's anatomy class was one of my favorites to date. He lectures with enthusiasm, which is great. But, his enthusiasm often causes him to go very fast and speak in a convoluted way. He needs to slow down and explain things more clearly. That said, tests are tough but fair. I got a 92 by making notes and reviewing them 3 days up until the exam.

Need to know A LOT of information but he is great at explaining it and will answer all of your questions to the best of his abilities (and will find out the answer if he does not know it). He is clearly very knowledgable and passionate about what he teaches, which is awesome!

Dr Belliveau is the best professor I have ever had! And this anatomy course is still my favourite course to date! His exams are very fair; I received a 93 in the course. He is an extremely gifted professor not to mention personable and approachable.

Dr. B is the BEST PROFESSOR EVER! He is genuinely concerned about his students. His slides are clear and concise, you dont have to sift through them and look for things that could be testable or not. His exams are rather fair. I definitely recommend his class if you are into Anatomy.

Excellent prof. Great at explaining concepts, and uses interactive methods of teaching things that are really difficult. His exams aren't that hard if you study the material - there are no "surprises". I would definitely take another one of his courses.

a very hard course!! and it didn't help that it was a 8:30 am class and he was monotone. I for sure fell asleep more then once in the class. He isin't a horrible prof tho he can be funny at times but you have attend each class don't skip!! cause his exams are based a lot on the stuff he says in class and there extremly hard so good luck ul need it!

Comment:

Professor Belliveau will be the only thing that will get you through this course. This course is not easy despite it being worth only half a credit. Belliveau explains material extremely well, cracks jokes here and there, and keeps the class on the same page. He is excellent at clarifying any confusion. He knows his stuff. Keep up the great work!

This was the hardest course (conceptually) that I think is offered by Health Science. That said he did an awesome job teaching it's not easy to get above 80..its just A LOT of material. He was my fave Health Sci prof. VERY helpful! Loved the course, more physiology than anatomy.

Dr.Belliveau is probably my favourite professor so far in my University career. He is genuinely funny, teaches anatomy so that you understand it with ease, and is more than willing to help you achieve the grade that you desire. He has inspired me to continue in anatomy when I had no previous aspiration to do so! He rocks!
