He's an awesome professor. I had him for a summer session, every day for 5 weeks. Lots of material to cover, but he covered it well and in depth. He gave ample time for questions and discussions. Wake up people....it's a frikkin' college course. Show up to class and study and you will do well. I really liked the class and his lab. He knows his stuf

He's a nice guy and seems to care for his students. However, his tests are really hard if you don't study. He curves every test. He offers extra credit but it's a lot of work for very little points. I had hime for lab too and a lot of the time lecture and lab were not on the same subject. He skips around a lot and sometimes it can be confusing.

He is a nice person but not a teacher I would recomend. Literally every class I dreaded going to. His tests are really hard and almost impossible. I can't wait to be done with it! Just a warning. He's a nice person but a really hard and confusing teacher. This class gave me fits this semester. Lab was so hard too. We studied different stuff in it.

He's so sweet! I'm not really a fan of biology but I thought he was adorbale. His tests are hard, but as long as you study and try then he usually gives major curves! (Ex.15pt curve on the last lab test)

Honestly, You have to study in order to pass his class. I didnt study for the first two test and I made a C and F, but I started paying READING and I did fine. You must study if you want to pass this class. He has his boring days but it isnt that bad.He skips around the text book but he will let you know exactly what to read for the test.

I actually liked him. I took Bio 1010 in the summer and he took over the class about halfway through when the original teacher's father died, and I did much better with Boehmer than the other. Not the most exciting guy ever but if he sees that you're trying he'll help you out as much as possible.

I didnt like him. He is competely unorganized in his lectures..he jumps back and fourth between subjects and then the tests are made up of his arbitrary jumble with a little bit from the book, however you can never tell what pages to read. If you are an organized, visual learner, I wouldnt recomend him.

I'm not personally crazy about science and Boehmer is not particularly an easy professor, but show that you are trying and he will go out of his way to help. Do the extra credit and put forth the effort, you'll be fine.

I had him for a summer Essentials of Geology class. In my opinion, Mr. Boehmer is a very good teacher. His class required a great deal of work, but I always knew what I was doing and never felt lost. He's very forgiving in his grading, and as long as you take detailed notes and pay attention in class, you should be able to ace his tests easily.

I really enjoyed Mr. Boehmer. The class was boring but if you half way pay attention you'll actually learn something interesting. His tests aren't that bad, he always seemed to curve the grades on the lab and lecture tests.
