I will never take another class from him. I had to have a minor surgery and I was out for two weeks. He basically told me I was going to flunk the class and didnt offer any help. I will never ever in my life take another course from him.

Every semester has the same sad stories....Students sign up for his classes and then get failing grades. I hope that future students learn from these horror stories and just don't register to take his classes. It's that simple!! If you don't take his classes, then he can't fail you!!

His class is a complete waste of time. He didn't teach half of the material that was assigned and when he did teach he would bust off in random tangents about cockroaches. The class was way behind and I feel cheated of the money i paid to take the class. All and all I would recommend any other professor but this one.

Boring voice - His test questions can be subjective. In lab, you are on your own...that's when he takes his smoke breaks. Now, I'm a college professor and I do everything that I can to be the opposite of Dr. Davis, who has failed to realize the true meaning of teaching.

Dr.Davis is a very smart man but not a very good professor. He is not willing to give outside help and makes you feel incompitant as a student if you ask a question in class. Dont bother reading the text book because he lectures straight from his own personal study. All in all if you can avoid taking his class do so!

Not all that great of a teacher. Has bad reputation and is now clear why he does so. Not helpful at all. Had him for Lab and he talked for an hour in a blah voice and then left the room, leaving the students to do whatever with no helpful direction. If you decide to take this teacher remember that he will not be there to help you out. Good Luck!

As for others who feel that that their just more intelligent than others and we who have problems with him are just as pompous as Davis is. he is a very difficult teacher and you cant always find the material in the book,so studying is difficult,and he is useless in lab

I took these some years ago..I just barely squeaked out of the first and took the second one from him 2 times (dropping once) and got a D the second time. Took it from someone else and got an A. Very hard and tests are tricky! Almost every question seems like it can have more than one answer but there is a minute error in one. Do NOT take him!!

I had Dr. Davis for A&P. I would not reccommend anyone for his class. The difficult task i had in his class is studying three to four chapters before one test is took. It is hard trying to retain such a grand amount of information. I suggest that in his class before assinging so much information at one time is that he give test along the way.

Anatomy and Physiology is just such a hard subject. Davis will not spoon feed the material to you. He is not big on answering questions. He wants you to think for yourself. If you end up taking him, show initiative and show you are trying...HARD. He doesn't like it when people don't try and then complain. He's actually funny and nice.

He was a horrible teacher. I was failing his class. I hated the fact that he would lecture for a long time and then give a big test. I dropped the class and took it the next semester with a different teacher and did wonderful.
