He does not explain or answer questions.He makes students feel unintelligent.He is arrogant.He talks about irrevelant subjects that he finds interesting and refuses to answer questions during such a class even when a test is the next day.If you study really hard in advance, his tests are not that hard.

He has really horrible ratings, but I thought he was okay. A tough grader. The fact that he requires an actual report with commentary does make the class harder, but it's probably good for you in the long run since it forces you to actually understand what you're doing with Maple.

Very hard professor. I knew nothing of integral calculus and now I know a little. He gave mercy on me though, and I think he would do that for any of his students who really tried (i.e. attendance, office hours, asking ques. about hw). But he does like to waste time in class talking calculators and is not very helpful in explaining problems.

Edwards requires that the lab reports have introductions, conclusions, and explanations throughout. He doesn’t always specify how to do the reports which makes grading sometimes unfair. He doesn’t give instruction before a lab but will answer questions.

He absolutely sucks. Incredibly unhelpful. Known by math students as one of the most dreadful people in the department. Do not take his class. I'm an honors student and I enjoy math, but his class was pure hell. He makes you write papers along with you projects. Avoid at all costs!!! Please for your own sake.

Awful teacher. He's rude if you try to talk to him. Doesn't like questions. Usually spends at least half of the class talking about his calculator or what he likes about the book. Tests on things he doesn't teach. Avoid at all costs. Only good thing is that he gives W's.

His tests aren't bad, especially if you've taken the course before. He doesn't have an attendance policy except that attendance is the "difference between mercy and justice." His final is the worst thing you'll ever sit through in your life, so focus on LOTS of derivative rules within one problem. It's just complicated.
