Fun guy, got his information across. Powerpoints are detrimental to doing well on the exam. Lots of studying and lots of tricky questions on the exam. As with any pre-health class, it's a weed-out one so don't take it lightly.

Dr. Evans is a seemingly nice guy and is actually kinda funny. But, despite whatever he says, his test was awful. The average was a 64. I would suggest study his power points like crazy, and know every little detail you never thought you would need to know because you DO need to know it. And most answers to his questions are none of the above

Dr. Evan's class was definitely enjoyable but his tests are somewhat confusing. If you have trouble with "all/none of the above" questions, I warn that pretty much all of his questions have at least one of those as a choice. He also skips over a lot of material (he doesn't test you on it) that is necessary for Pre-Med/Vet/Pharm.

this professor is ridiculous! he is a really bad lecturer! since he is a graduate professor, his tests are SUPER hard and confusing! all the questions are none of the above AND all of the above!!! the class average was 66 and 64... DONT TAKE HIM!!!!!!!!!!

Evans is a great professor. His tests come directly from his lecture notes (that he also posts online). I highly encourage you to go to class though, as it is very interesting (especially if you are pre-med). By studying a little bit everday I got a 195/200 on both of his exams. Get Evans for the animal portion of Bio I!

Great teacher :) His tests only cover his notes, so definately read over notes you take in class and the ones he posts online. Tests questions are extremely broad and one question will cover a lot of knowledge of the subject, so make sure you really understand what's going on.

He teaches the zoology part of 2010. He is a very good lecturer and test are very easy if you just study his notes that his puts online. He only test from his notes so its a waste of time to look in the bio book. Great Teacher!
