Comment:
One of the best writing teachers you will ever find, a little cockey, but in a good way. He knows his stuff and will challenge you in your writing. Most importantly, what he teaches is how to apply writing to the real world, not useless classroom theory. One of my best classes at UW.

I took him for a business writing class. Many people said he was very difficult, but if you're a decent writer going in, you won't have that tough a time. Overall, I was happy with his class and learned a lot about business writing that I will remember.

This class was exceptionally hard, yet very informative. I think this has been one of the best classes I have taken in regards to writing and thinning out the B.S.

He has great expectations for students. David is a good helper, and provides real life input in class. An excellent class but the work load can become overwhelming. Time management is essential.
