Get ready to read and study because this class is not a walk in the park. She's a good teacher but her tests are no joke. Be prepared for lots of homework and reading. She's very accessible outside of the class room and doesn't want you to fail. I took a "W" because I had so much personal stuff going on during the semester. She's also hilarious.

This Is not an easy pass. don't blame the professor for the grades you deserve. Try not to miss class because you are required to get class work from someone. Please do not take this professor if you have a terrible work ethic. If anything don't go to college if you're looking for a free pass to an A. This isn't highschool, this is the real world.

Worst. Professor. Ever. She has no grading guidelines, will make things up as she goes. Something that can be right in one class is wrong in hers. Tough grading with no direction. Laughs at stupidity and discourages you from asking anything. No planned out classes, tells fake stories for hours. No help. No direction. Stay away.

I highly recommend Professor Dvorak. Took Law 101 and 103 online. The course work is heavy but do the work and you will learn a lot. She is one of the most caring professors at Suffolk. She truly wants her students to learn. She's quick to respond if you need help.

I had Professor Dvorak for Law 101/103. She is a tough cookie, but great. Study hard, do your work, and you will be greatly rewarded. Email her with any questions and she will give you good advice. It was a tough class, but well worth it. She is very fair in grading, and gives credit where it is due. Would definitely take her class again.

Took Freshman Seminar online which is more work than the course if taken in a classroom setting. She responds immediately and will always give feedback when submitting assignments. Easy grader and very flexible. I would look for her as a professor again.

Honestly i wish i could've enjoyed this class. Law is fascinating on its own but this class made it truly painful. Please heed my advice. DO NOT take her online courses. tough grading paired with little to no technical know-how makes for a frustrating experience. I ended up dropping her class, which is a first for me.

I took this professor because of all the good reviews here, but I'm so sorry I did! Maybe in person she is good, but DO NOT take the online class. Her expectations are way too high for an introductory course and her comments are rude when she grades your assignments. Expect a lot of hard work with no help whatsoever from her!

She is a tough grader and assigns tough coursework and demands a lot from her students. She expects more of the students in the paralegal program b/c they are a "type-a" student. She does allow you to resubmit work for a better grade. Avoid this class if you have limited experience in civil law it can be easy to get lost without prior experience

Very tough at first. Each disc post is graded as well as case studies. It takes awhile to learn what she expects, but she adds notes, gives good hints and lets you resubmit assignments as many times until you get the grade you want. After a few assignments you learn what she wants. She uses the 'grades' feature which is AWESOME.

Anyone that has something negative to say about Professor Dvorak clearly has no sense of humor. I won't lie- she is tough, but she is also comical and one interesting character. She was the best professor I had over the course of my college career! Put in the effort, complete your assignments and she will meet you half way.

So she actually is really nice.. I failed the class by around 5 points, and she passed me with a C.. She does make everyone read one section, but it's not bad as she gives extra credit for it.. She has the best examples and I really learned a lot.

She tells stories to help you remember material. She is fair and to the point. BUT her personality is strange. She can be snobby and cold. If you come to her on the side she will try to show interest but it is so fake to the point its uncomfortable. She does have some good days where she is wonderful and friendly. She doesn't know how to teach. She thinks telling fake stories will make her the best professor. She's 1 of the worst professor I've ever had. I had to teach myself. Her tests are extremely hard. If u want a bad grade, then u can take her.
