Her downfall is the book. When I took personality I didn't want to learn the history of PSY, but that 's more so what ended up happening. She is really nice, a great teacher, and HER HOMEWORK IS THE BEST!! I feel like i wish i could actually take a personality class now though.

Comment:

She does not use powerpoint; she basically teaches straight from the book. This is not to say that you don't need to go. She hits the highlights of the texts and gives real-world comparisons, applications, etc. to help explain the material. At the end of each chapter she pretty much leads you to the questions that will be on the test. Take her.

Awesome teacher, she is funny and very nice to her students. Attendance is mandatory, the book isn't necessary but will help you a lot. STUDY for her tests, they are somewhat difficult but manageable.

Love, love this teacher. Easily became my favorite professor of all time. She teaches straight from the book and tells you what to highlight and what bullets from end of chapter will be on test. Makes studying so much easier! Also gives an extra credit opportunity at end of semester. She takes attendance every class! ALWAYS let class out early!!

Love her. Very helpful, tells you what to expect on exams, goes off on stories a lot, but in an interesting way that (in my opinion) benefits the learning experience and provides and nice break from psychologist biography. She knows her stuff, gives you chances to redeem yourself, and is all around a great teacher.

VERY nice professor. Night class is hard to sit through, but worth going to because she doesn't test over what she doesn't talk about in class... so going to class = knowing exactly what you have to or don't have to study. Helpful, because she often skips entire sections. Few assignments and grades leniently. Almost always lets class out early.

I'll say the same thing everyone else has. She basically reads from the book and occaisonally makes it interesting. Before each test she "suggests" what you should study and know. Tests are never surprising, rather easy really. Very helpful and nice as well.
