Prof. Latham is very tough and very strict with the attendance. She gives homework every class and it counts in your final grade. The textbook is necessary since the first class so you better get it in advance. She gives in class reviews to keep you in track though. If you take notes and don't miss any class you'll do well.

The only reason I understood remotely anything in this class is the because of the solutions manual and the tutor center. She is all over the place in her lectures. She hasn't taught the class in 15 years and it shows in her examples. She practically retaught herself during lecture. Very nice person, but a horrible professor.

Donna is a funny and likeable teacher, but she often forgets what she has done is class and what she plans on doing. I took this class over the summer and I got an A. Quizzes are in groups (super easy) and she gives you a study guide before the test that says EXACTLY what will be on the test, if you do these problems the class will be simple.

This teacher is unclear on topics in class and often messes up an example and says you can figure it out later. She just puts exaples on the board as opposed to teaching it. The math lab got me thru this class.

Disorganized mess; spent more time playing w/cellphone than answering ?'s. Thou shall not steal your students' time! Collects no HW, so no points to earn for that 6+ hrs work after bad lectures, but 20pts ex. credit was offered. Can't stick to her plan, poor time mgmt., confuses activity with productivity!

This professor is very very confusing she presents class material horribly. She is without a doubt the most confusing professor I have ever had. She makes material you already know confusing...she uses formulas that she doesn't explain and does nothing in any sort of order. Bad teacher...I got an 'A' only because I had the lab people teach me...

Cannot present information well. Completely disorganized. Made me confused on concepts I already knew. Got an A because I taught myself out of the book and because her exams are essentially identical to practice exams. If you need to learn, don't take her. If you already have a good grasp, you'll do fine but will be very frustrated.

I took Prof. Latham's ALEKS college algebra course. It is easy to get an A if you keep up with the course material (which WILL BE time consuming). Tests are super-easy if you do the practice exams first. She is very willing to answer questions and her explanations are very clear. My only criticism is that she is always late to class.

A sweet gal with a sense of humor and a real desire to help you learn. If you need help, you do need to ask though! Was a hybrid/Aleks course so most teaching was done individually. Make an effort in the class & she is more than willing to help you if you're in a tight spot (esp deadlines). Took attendance well into the semester which was lame...

Ok. Latham is not the worst teacher, and not the best either. She was just ok. She was definitely disorganized the semester I took her, but between her and my awesome study group, I learned a lot. She is a good person, and is willing to help you, and makes herself very available to students (she even gave out her phone #). I don't regret taking her

took her for online statistics with ALEKS & everything went well because the program was good. took trig with her this summer and learned she is a TERRIBLE teacher. extremely disorganized, goes straight into doing problems without lecturing, loses hw and quizes, made us waste $50 on a iclicker. I taught myself with the book. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

DO NOT RECOMMEND HER AT ALL!! Extremely spacey and disorganized! Lectures consist of her doing problems from the book with NO teaching and helping us understand the concept whatsoever! Collected the HW so randomly that I just stopped doing it! For someone like myself who needs extra help in math, I do not think Latham is the fit for you!

Prof Latham...WOW! This is a trig class I definitly deserved to fail but I somehow got a B. I didn't even show up to her 2 day final exam, nor did I take any of her clicker quizzes. I seldom did homework because I never understood her lectures. I did go to class most of the time and tried to understand, but learned pretty much nothing.

Prof Latham is a pretty funny person, but VERY DISORGANIZED!!!! She made us buy the iclicker for $50 then lost all of our clicker quizzes. She goes over extremely easy problems in class then assigns RIDICULOUSLY hard questions out of the book. I feel like the math center taught me trig because I rarely understood her lectures!
