Not a good experience. The professor was defensive and not open to our suggestions about improving the course. She was offended that we didn't find her teaching clear and useful. Lectures were very unclear or irrelevant. One third of the course was dedicated to ethics and philosophy.

Her class can be difficult but its absolutely worth it to put in that extra work to learn in her class!!! She is so knowledgable, and has alot to offer if you are ready to listen and learn. Don't go into the first day of class already decided that you don't like her based on what you have heard - keep an open mind, work hard, and enjoy!!!

Riley is an incredibly dedicated professor. She doesn't spoon-feed material like some want, but she gets you to think on your own. I left her class feeling like I'll be a better engineer because of it. She tries to be creative in her teaching too by giving us projects that make engineering real.
