Dr. T was soooo kind. Class was based on superheros and antiheroes. 2 essays, 1 midterm, and final group project. The only thing we read was a comic book. The final was a group paper and video super fun and easy. She created the final so EVERYONE does equal work.

There are no words to describe how awesome of a professor she is. She is truly caring and wants you to do well. Go to her office hours; they're really helpful! English is a hard subject, but she will carry your hand through it all. I would highly recommend everyone to take her, especially if you like comics and superheroes. Thank you so much prof!!

Good professor who wants you to succeed just DO NOT be late she freaks out (or be on phone in class). Lots of class discussion and group work so show up to class prepared and ready to share ideas. Provides tons of help on papers.

Her class is amazing! If you took her English 1A class, then you would be ready for this class! The class deals with superheroes and antiheroes! The only textbook you have to by is a $10 comic book. The class relies a lot on the discussions; so if you don't come to class, you will suffer greatly. She cares a lot about her students! BE ON TIME!

Dr.T is AMAZING! If you have the chance to take, take her! She provides the textbook and saves you money, essays are on fun topics. She actually takes time to know every individual unlike some other professors. Thank you for everything Dr.T!

Dr.T is one of the best professors to take for English 1C. If you love comic books, you'll have a blast. She really taught me how to analyze a text and she'll teach you how to analyze visual pieces too! Just don't be late or take your phone out during class.

Thongthiraj is honestly the best English teacher I've ever had. She is straightforward with what she wants. She is very helpful when it comes to essay writing and her class requires a lot of group work. She is very charismatic and has a good sense of humor. Her English 1A class deals with controversial issues. Overall, she's pretty good at teaching

Dr. T was definitely intimidating when I walked in late on the first day of class (PSA always plan ahead and get to campus with enough time to find parking). Besides her intolerance for tardiness, Dr. T is very patient with the classroom. Go to office hours! She likes ginger lattes, her dog, and is an undercover fashionista. A great class to take!

Best teacher I have even seen! She is nice to everybody and her lecture was so interesting. Unlike many other professors, she actually cares about students. She helps and encourages those who pay attentions to their study. Before taking this class, people said this Eng1A gonna be so hard, in my view, Dr.T's English 1A gonna teach you very well!!

I loved the course curriculum. It was thoughtful and unique which I appreciated. I didn't care for the high school environment she fostered by pitting her classes against each other and encouraging people to troll each other for being late. It also seemed like if you didn't come to the same conclusion she was expecting you to have, you were wrong.

I love Dr. T! She is a wonderful teacher who gave helpful lectures and taught you how to be a good writer. If you need assistance just go to talk to her because she is patience and kind. What a wonderful professor! She really shows that she cares about you. She will be in her office during her hours and class even if she is sick! I really have respect for that women. Her rubric is straight forward, and as long as you put in an honest effort , you should be able to earn an A!

Dr. Thongthiraj is beyond amazing, she is one of those professor's that comes along once in a lifetime. The way she engages the class and gets you thinking about the deeper meaning of the reading material is extraordinary. The assignments that we had in class were all awesome to work on. She's a great professor. Funny, caring, and wants you to do well. However she's very strict on being on time which can be annoying even if you're a minute late. a bit like highschool atmosphere But overall i enjoyed the class. Take this class if you're interested in superheroes.

She is the best teacher ever!Today, it was the birthday of this girl in my class and she bought her a birthday cake :') She is incredibly caring and energetic! I am surprised that anyone would fail her classes. She's clear, organized, and helpful, a true professional. But she has a unique personality too. If you are not a slacker, she's very understanding and caring. Time flies by in her class because she's funny and encourages discussion. I love her dog stickers--find out what I mean by taking her!

She will not pass you if your writing skill is not good. she grades really hard based on your grammar and your argument. She wants everything to be perfect on the essay and her assignment. She is funny and nice at same time. In order to do well in that class you need to try and focus on understanding the stories. Some people may say she is easy.
