Duke is a nice man but very strict. Everyday I would go in and listen to him tell stories all day long. You'd be lucky if u got a sentence of notes. It definitely was an easy A. If you really want to learn the subject of Criminal Justice I recommend you dont take his class because I feel as if I didnt learn a thing.

No textbook so you must listen and take notes because he does want them all typed and printed in a folder at the end of the semester. Quizzes are 15 questions and he gives a review the class before. Attendance is mandatory. Stay on his good side and you'll do excellent! This class was a piece of cake =)

you get no homework no quizes just take notes every day you would be lucky to get 2-3 sentences of notes of day becuase he stays off topic. he can be teaching arson and end up talking about him and his buddy on the force pullin over a 14 year old. and you take a test every 2 weeks but he hardly teaches whats on the test

There is no book for his class. So you must write down everything, word for word or you will end up with a C. There are things on his test he never talked about in class. Yet when let him know he never told us, he said he did, you must not have been paying attention. Over all a good guy. Understand.

He is a very wise man, but very strict. He will not put up with any disrespect. Great teacher, he knows most of it. I recommend him, but only if you want a slight challenge, because he is not an easy teacher!!

This instructor has a very inflexible attendance policy and will not give leeway to disabled students.

Comment:
His classes are pretty easy. The hardest part is showing up to class everyday. He is very fair with the way he runs things. He is getting older, so sometimes you might hear the same story two or three times (especially since I had him for AJS 275 too).
