One of the most caring professors I've ever had! There's a lot of reading involved but I loved every single one of the books she'd assigned for the class! She helps you better your writing, helping you find your true voice. I'm so grateful she exists! :)

Dr. Giunta is the most amazing professor at NJCU. She requires a lot of reading and writing, but it is worth it. If you work hard you will get a good grade. She will teach you how to be a better writer and is always willing to help. Take her class if you are interested in writing.

There is alot of reading but they're all really interesting and help you improve as a writer. She expects you to do a substantial amount of work but remember this is college. You will learn tons of techniques on how to perfect your writing skills and will come away with a good chunk of edited writing that you can be proud of.

Prof. Giunta is an excellent teacher who knows her stuff! She does require alot of writing from you, but it is only to help you develop your writing style. She is very helpful with any questions or writing gliches you may have. People who don't like her are just lazy - she's the best at what she does! If you are a true Eng. student you'll love her!

Amazing Class & Teacher! I never thought I would love the readings that much, & having her to discuss them with made me love it all even more. Her assingments were intresting, & she provokes thought in her students. After the 1st week you get used to her accent! She really helps you with your writing, didnt expect that. I actually left smarter!

Lots of reading. Lots of writing. Tricky accent. All true. A sharp lady though, and an accomplished writer, so she knows the business. She recognizes talent and nurtures it. Like Fausty, does the "presentations" thing, but with her, it's even harder to understand, unless you're like me and you've already heard it explained 4 times.

Dropped the class at the last possible moment. She speaks a broken English that I couldnt understand even when we talked one on one. Reading material was first grade level and she wanted us to analyze it like it was Faulkner. Sweet woman, just not a good English teacher. Also INCREDIBLY BORING!

She knows her subject well but be prepared for lots of reading and writing. How much you get out of this class depends on how much you're into memoir writing. She's demanding and difficult to satisfy so be warned. Her comments on papers are hard to read too. If you're up to the challenge, go ahead and take her.

To put it bluntly, she sucks! She is an eglish professor and she can barely speek english. I waste my time straining to understand her thenpaying attention to the actual lession. She is very confusing. I would advise anyone not to take her.
