Erika is AMAZING. She makes learning interesting and fun and her expectations for homework and participation are completely reasonable. She's the best 100-level Spanish teacher at OSU from my experience and from what I've heard. She offers extra credit and she goes out of her way to help and make sure you understand. Wish I could take 200 from her!

Erika was the perfect professor for intro Spanish. She's patient, thorough, and interested in your learning. But don't get me wrong - it's not boring! We did a few activities related to Spanish/South American culture that were fun. I would highly recommend her for any type of student - just make sure to do your daily homework! It doesn't take long!

I really enjoyed having her class, she is really easy to communicate with and her homework is pretty easy. It does go fast if you have never had Spanish, but it seems like most students are keeping up with it all. Relatively easy for me because of having taken Spanish in high school.
