I loved her! She loves what she does and made the subject interesting. The class was pretty easy as long as you paid attention in class and turned things in on time. The speeches weren't bad and I hate speaking in front of people. This woman is adorable and I would love to take her again.

AMAZING PROFESSOR!!! :) I found my passion for what I want to do in life because of her, she is so nice, passionate and friendly. she has so much insight on what she teaches! two tests, some simple papers and alot of FUN! she makes you excited about intercultural communication, great prof all around! do the work, go to class, be open minded, great!

Dr. Vora was one of my most influential professors my first semester here at SCSU. She's a very smart woman, and she's always full of energy! She's crazy, and I loved it! She does give hard tests though, just read the chapters in the book and you should be alright. She grades speeches nicely though!

Excellant prof. One of the best classes I've ever taken at SCSU and if I was a CMST major I would take her again in a heartbeat. Her discussion is completely relavant to the topic-listen to what she's saying and it will all click. She's very knowlegeable and cares that we understand how important this subject is. Fascinating atmosphere-take her!

Really interesting teacher! You have to read and study the chapters on your own for tests. The tests are hard but the speechs are really easy and she doesnt grade very harshly. If youre nervous about public speaking its a really good class

This class is interesting because Erika is so passionate about communication and shes very interesting, but the exams are extremely difficult. Even if you study like crazy you probably wont do well on the exams. She is a good teacher if you are not comfortable with public speaking-she offers advice and is an easy grader for speeches.

I was a straight A student for three semesters until I took her class. The assignments are unclear, the tests are insanely difficult and bear no resemblance to the lectures and she is not all that good at communicating. She has some interesting stories to tell but that is all you are going to get out of this class. Stay AWAY from that class.

Erika one of the best professors I've ever had. I have quoted her in my writing. She brings worldly wisdom into the classroom. Let me clarify that she is not fake. She is one of the most genuine humans I've ever met. She understands how rhetoric is affecting the attitudes of Americans and she is not afraid of being iconoclastic to speak the truth.

Erika is an AWESOME professor with great stories. The speeches are few and easy! The exams are super hard though and the grading is confusing. Read the book and you'll be fine, but the disc doesn't really help. I had her for a block class and she never kept us the whole 3 hours we usually got out after and hour!!!
