Honestly this is the worse class ever. Part of the reason why I left the psychology department. TAs suck as well. They grade your essays as if you're getting a Ph.D in english.... I highly recommend NOT taking this class and avoiding having Esteban as a professor.

Excellent Professor. He really goes out of his way to clarify anything on the syllabus that may have been unclear. He treats you like an adult, so don't expect him to baby you. If you're struggling, you need to take the initiative to go and talk to him, and if you do he is incredibly helpful. He's also super approachable and easy to talk to.

Very poor teacher. Appears nice and interesting at first, but he quickly becomes boring and unimaginative. He drones on in lectures, and he ignores emails. He has his TA's write exams, so they are inconsistent and can be quite confusing, and he knows nothing about what's on them. Becomes smug/unhelpful when dealing with students. Avoid if possible

Prof Cardemil is a nice guy, he gives a good lecture and posts the power point. He has a good humor and a pleasant personality. But at times he is not very clear and his test border on ambiguity when it comes to answers. He is eager to see student succeed. His class runs like a mediocre psych class. Pay attention to what he says in lectures.

Esteban Cardemil is amazing. He is a great lecturer. He always has powerpoints which are very comprehensible. He has a great sense of humor. I learned a lot in his class. Definitely take him!

I learned so much in this class, more than i have since being at clark. He really knows what he's talking about and makes sure to include students in the class through interesting discussions. The assignments were interesting as well. He's a tough grader but if you work hard you'll do well.

This has been the best class I have ever taken at Clark. Cardemil makes his lectures bout entertaining and informative. He is an excellent professor...I'd definitely advise any psych major to take a class with him at least once.

Cardemil makes this class so much fun. I took this class 2x just because he was teaching it. You do hands- on research for his studies and he sees you as an equal. There is usually one reading per class and he does a superb job of reviewing it. There are no test or quizzes since he relies on interesting discussions in class.
