Lots of reading but he makes the content interesting. Very animated and likes when you participate. Midterm, presentation, final, and 5 page paper. No reviews but lets you know what may be on the exams. Nice guy!

very nice professor but goes through the material way too fast i had to drop the class because i was failing. the online homework was overwelming and hard. he makes you participate in class even if you do not know the answer. theres 3 or 4 regular tests and 2 oral exams in the computer lab.the book is used everyday in class

Prof. Soto's best quality is that he is animated. He keeps the interest & attention of the students well. He's really nice & doesn't mind offering extra help. Once I had a question about the grammar that he couldn't figure out in class so he did extra research to answer my question. He even copied pages from of one of his old school textbooks.

Great Professor. Yes, we were expected to read every week... because it's a literature class. As long as you read you will do fine. He is a nice guy and he tries to keep things interesting. We had a midterm, final, presentation & paper to go with it. The book selections were easy to get through.

he has great intentions for the class, he is sooo interested in the material and expects you to be also. there is a book to be read for each class, very overwhelming!! he discusses them alot, but if you didnt read the book, then you really got to pay attention. his midterm and final has specific questions about each book, rediculous.
