An absent teacher. Took weeks to grade assignments. Did not receive helpful feedback when the assignments were graded. Be prepared to write 5-6 page papers every other week while reading 100+ pages of material in between.

Freida is a very absent professor. She does not give adequate feedback, she takes weeks to grade papers and discussions. She will give you the opportunity to resubmit work below an 80. There is a lot of reading, you have to download articles every week beyond the textbook use. and her assignments are vague.

Frieda asks some tough questions which require some solid research to answer. If you're taking her class for an easy A it might not be the choice for you, but she does understand that life happens and will work with you IF you're upfront about it. After taking this class you'll definitely be more knowledgeable about the course topics.

Professor was not engaged at all. Didn't answer questions I asked. Over the top with the amount of work to be done. One of my last classes in my B.S. degree and this professor was by far the worst.

The semester was over and she hadn't corrected assignments from six weeks earlier. She was unclear in her assignments and often the web pages were incorrect regarding class information. Links were dead on the class pages and she was unaware. I wouldn't take a class from her again.

She was a terrible instructor. She took a long time to grade all of my papers. She was not clear about what to do on certain assignments. When I would e-mail her asking for help, her suggestions and responses did not offer much help. She is a confusing and difficult teacher to work with. I would not recommend this instructor.

I have read the reviews of Fredia, many fail to realize that her toughness is only to bring out the best in each student. Although her comment are sometimes harsh they are meant to force improvement. Many student give little effort and expect great reward. I for one feel she made me a better student

Professor Mendelsohn is by far the VERY worst teacher I have ever experienced. Her lack of knowledge, capabilities, professionalism, and manners is distasteful. I am utterly DISGUSTED this woman is allowed to teach UPPER LEVEL courses at a COLLEGE. I do not think I would allow her to teach my 2-year old his ABC's. Stay away.... really, really far.

Frieda was my mentor, I liked her, she didn't put me through any BS and allowed me to make my own decisions, as we are all supposed to be adults and she treated me like one. She even went our of her way to ensure that I received my diploma quickly. Those that say that she took long to grade, she is legally blind you know.

I truly thought I was the only one who felt that she was the worst college instructor I have ever had with 100+ credits. Just like that last few comments suggest, don't try to fend for yourself, she will get annoyed. If you ask for feedback, she tells you to take a hike. When asked to communicate, she refuses.

If you have to take this class make sure it is the only one you have to take that semester..... because the workload is insane. After the first few papers you start to realize that you have to write the same paper over and over again. The two texts books is not enough reading for her so she gives about 10 other sources that you have to read.
