Honestly he is one of the best Professors I have ever encountered. All of his mean comments on your papers, are really helpful tips. Tips that allow you to fix your writing mistakes, and will prepare you for post graduate classes. Take his class, and better yourself to become the best student you can be.

Prof. Brooks has by far been the toughest professor I have taken. He is very inspirational, funny, and knows exactly what he is talking about, but you better STUDY your butt off if you want any chance at passing. Everything in the tests has to be so detailed(not mult. choice)Take him for a real challenge, not for procrastinators or lazy mindsets!!

Comment:

Lectures are always really interesting and everyday never seems boring. Make sure you do the homework or you wont pass the quizzes or exams. TAKES FOREVER TO GRADE THINGS!! He's really funny and ties in current day events into his lectures and examples. All in All I would take another one of his classes again!

I have taken Dr. Brooks three times and this one was my favorite. Since medieval history is his specialty he is especially passionate teaching this course. He allowed me to turn in missing papers after the class was over and changed my grade for me which allowed me to graduate. take him for all of your humanities classes like me. you will learn all

I have taken Dr. Brooks three times. He is an outstanding professor, he really cares and tries to prepare students for college level thinking. He taught me to write an essay better than my comp teachers. If i could, I would sit in on all of his lectures because they are the most interesting of any professor I have taken. take his classes no regrets

Yes, Dr. Brooks actually assigns homework and expects you to be prepared for class, just like an average professor. You will have to do some work. This is college, not high school. What sets him apart from other instructors is that he genuinely wants to prepare his students to survive college for 4+ years. You will gain a lot from his class.

He is the ABSOLUTE WORST ONLINE PROFESSOR EVER. He makes you feel so stupid even when you try your best. I studied 2 days for the exam and nothing i studied was on the test. He is the harshest grader and basically a big jerk who tells you you should just give up and get a meaningless job if you can't pass his class. never take him for anything.

I took this professor online for intro to humanities. Hands down one of the worst professors at Valencia. Im a hard working student, gave my 110% effort into this class and he would give me the worst grades on every assignment, I even had tutors review my work before turning them in. He's one of the harshest graders, and his feedback is terrible.

Dr. Brooks is an excellent professor. Yes, I received a C. However I have never felt so accomplished after receiving an average grade, and I would definitely take him again. I would listen to him lecture for hours because of the passion he has for the subject he is teaching. Not to mention he was very easy on the eyes!

George Brooks is awesome, and will challenge you, and hey, this is college right? not supposed to be a walk in the park. Everyone seems to be complaining about him being a difficult grader, but professor brooks helped my writing more than anyone in all of my twenty-one years. Really tough grader. Dr. Brooks thinks all of his students are already in grad school. Complained a lot about how my generation is obsessed with their phones but I think it's only because he barely knows how to work a computer and no, he isn't old. Don't take him unless you live and breath late roman & medieval humanities.

He will give you A LOT of homework, test are kinda hard and when it comes to any assignment its as if he doesn't know we have other classes to deal with too. Really tough grader.
