Prof Platt is the most boring man alive, he is like 100years old and needs to retire asap! He just hands out like a 4-5 page worksheet at the beginning of class, then reads it. Thats it! Just get the worksheets and leave, we can read it ourselves. 50% of the class usually asleep by the end.

Professor Platt is very particular, thorough and very organized. This is a plus for students. He's approachable although he doesn't appear to be. Class consisted of LECTURE/frequent papers. Only problem is that he can take a dislike to some. If he doesn't like you, you'll know it in grading & openly at discussion. Otherwise easy A, LOTS of research

I liked this class. Platt seemed like a nice guy. The material was pretty interesting. Tests weren't as bad as I thought they would be, but did require a lot of studying. Overall, it's a pretty good class.

Theories and Perspectives: He talks fast, which makes it hard to take notes but he is helpful and clear. He drives his points home, teaching it to all the students in the class. The final grade is the three tests and that's it.
