Dr Brasher is funny inspirational and take you way back to the past you really learn with him, but you need to record him and take good notes is a must he will make you work for a good grade. but he is just an awesome teacher make sure you understand when you study what lead the event and what this cause the next event. plug everything,

it's the hardest class I have ever had, and I passed with C. Dr. Brasher will make understand the united states history very well. In order to pass this class, you cannot miss any class, you have to take very good note(it's not that hard), and you have to study really really hard.

The toughest class I had at Shelton, by far. But it was awesome. Every day was storytime. Great storyteller and funny guy. Yes, I had to work for it, but he was fair, clear in what he wanted, and helpful. Don't even think about missing any classes.

He would start quizzes, daily, before class even started, wouldn't give study guides and gave extremely hard test. I've done well in previous history classes but this was awful.

Would start quizzes before class time started, wouldn't give reasonable study guides(they basically said study everything, made the tests unrealistically hard no matter how you studied. Unless you're extremely good at history,I thought I was pretty good since I've gotten A's in every other class, or learn everything easily, I don't recommend him.

He's a very engaging teacher and I strongly recommend taking him. His main focus is to get his lectures in your long term memory so there's no waiting until the last minute to study for his tests. Just expect the unexpected

I took WC with mr Brasher and he is by far the best teacher in my opinion. if you like history, take his class, if you dont like history, TAKE his class. hes got keys to the Delorean (back to the future) and will take you back, waaayy back in time. if you dont take his class, you missing out. Big time. Cant wait to have class w him again

He is awesome. Probably the best history professor I've ever had. He tells great stories, and makes it seem as if you traveled back in time. He doesn't just hand out good grades, either. You have to work to get an A. But again, this guy is awesome and I wish I could take him again and again.

Dr. Brasher is AMAZING! If you'r in college you should be advancing your knowledge! So to learn History TAKE DR. BRASHER! He is filed with knowledge. As with every class; YOU HAVE TO GO TO CLASS and take notes. Some teachers are lazy and feed you the book, Brasher is NOT lazy and will give you amazing Lectures! Easily The Best History Teacher!

I loved him. He will make you work for your grade though. GO TO CLASS. He gives daily quizzes, and make sure you know the material before the quiz. Quiz grades will do wonders for you in the end. STUDY. His tests are thorough and there are multiple choice and short answers. He always kept my interest and I learned a lot from him.
