this is by far the best teacher i have had he is great. he really cares about his students and puts in a lot of effort to help out. it seems that he would be a great person to work with as well. he was always available even at times that other teachers would not even care to respond i wish he would teach more courses UMASS needs teachers like him

Agree with the previous comments, lectures are kind of useless even though attendance is mandatory(sometimes), but he is a nice guy and does clarify and answer questions, but seemingly only if you go to him directly.

He's nice and always willing to do what it takes to help students. He's a bit wordy and lectures end up not being that helpful to learning the material. Labs are where all the learning happens; he gives out written step by step instructions.

Glenn is very accomodating and respectful of students. He really cares if students understand and the classes are usually interesting. He doesn't take attendance but most people go to class because there is no textbook and it is the only way to learn. He does hand out CD's with videos of him demonstrating some of the projects which is cool.

nver thought i could learn some of this stuff but i did! Glenn cares if you understand and will stick by you as long as you need to get it. He tries to pack alot in to an intro course though so the end of the semester gets a little crazy.
