This class was great. Loved his teaching style and he is a genuinely good and very funny professor.knows his stuff, is very prepared, expectations are clear. Lectures are intersting and really keeps your attention. adds personal stories which is great. You need to come to class though, and read the book. much better than my other psych classes.

great telecourse, I used old editions of both books I got at amazon.com and still got an A. the exams arent that hard and the video questions are very easy, videos were sort of old but pretty interesting

I wasn't sure about this class at first but ended up loving it, mr marton was harder than my psych 201 teacher but he was clear and organized and it felt more like a real college class, and also I like his humor and the way he cares about his students

By far Greg is the best instructor I have had to date. He is very helpful and directions for the class are very clear. You can tell he really cares about all of his students. The class it's self is not so easy but his teaching style and study guides really help.

What a great experience for a Telecourse. I've had many, but this professor is the best I've had. His quick reply to emails, and way of handling the course made me feel I was actually in class. Study guides were really well done, and the course was great. Highly recommend!

Marton is one of the better teachers I've taken. He is pretty up on attendance, but if you have a good reason for missing, it's usualy not a problem. Extremely helpful, and outlines what will be on the test in clear concise language. overall, awesome.

This was the first college class i took where i actually had to learn something, it wasn't just another fluff class. Since then my classes have gotten harder but i feel lucky i took this class with marton. He was reasonable and not that hard but he did ask students to know the information. Interesting class and a nice teacher.

The tellecourse videos are a little out dated but still interesting, the video questions were really clear and very easy. The exams weren't as easy, but the instructor provides really good study guides, which help a lot. Mr.Marton is really helpful, wants you to do well in the class, he answered my e-mails right away.

I found Greg, not in control of his classroom, certain students would ramble on and on and he'd just stand there not stopping them and wasting our time. He was not very helpful on one on one help, I believe his attitude was somewhat pompous.

It's been a while since I attended RCC, but I can say that Marton is a great teacher. I loved all his classes. I started as a very poor student, especially when it came to reading. When I took Marton's advice (study, come to class), my grades improved (and not just in psych). I really liked his humor and his respect for students.

Comment:

Mr. Marton is my favorite professor at RCC. He is very clear and organized, and you always know what to expect. Very down to earth, not stuck on himself, and he has a great sense of humor. It's fairly easy to do well if you come to class. When he says "put this in your notes" that's his code for "this will be on the exam". A really nice person.
