He gives his student little to no idea of what is expected on important assignments, making it very difficult to do well when it matters most. When asking for more info I was always told do your best or be creative and neither of those are particularly useful. Honestly if you are reading this you probably have to take him and that sucks.

An education professor with no teaching aptitude. You learn almost nothing from what he says in class because it's common sense, and we are given no motivation to remember anything he says because we all basically get As anyway. Gives virtually no guidance with assignments but then may be unnecessarily picky with your work. Dreadful group work too.

Great guy and teacher, this class however, was BORING. Really nothing to do with teaching, a lot of common sense things. Midterm is impossible, but somehow everyone ends up with A's anyway.

Being an elem ed major, you have to take his class at least once and I've had him 3 different times. He's really cool and nice but he teaches pretty boring lectures. There a fun projects though

There's nothing you can learn in this class that you can't learn from watching a couple episodes of Little House on the Prairie. We did watch some really good movies in class. A couple presentations, other than that just lectures (boring!) and movies.

The education 101 class is just to weed out who wants to be a teacher and who doesn't. Everything he shows movie-wise will bring tears. I've never cried so much in a class before, it's crazy. Dr. Martin is pretty funny, he's not very helpful but he's a pretty fair guy.

I did not take anything from this class. He did not test on what he taught at all. I was disappointed in the amount that I did not take away from this class. He was one of those professors you either really like or dislike all together. I also found his grading unfair.
