I've said it before, I'll say it again. This dude could not care less about his students. He is rude and constantly talks down to you if you have questions. Will not explain things again if asked, and one of the hardest profs I've ever had.

I had Dr. Zimmerman for chem. 116 and physical chem.. His classes are difficult b/c the material is difficult. He cares about students and wants them to learn/do well. Pay attention and do your homework. Go to office hours for help. Gives clear concise answers/feedback. Favorite Professor. True Educator. Tuff but fair. Very intelligent. A+

Dr. Z is a good teacher who will help you out whenever you need it. He explains fully and is big on partial credit. That being said, this department as a whole is lacking. You don't just have to know theories, you have to know how to manipulate them to get a good grade. Only class I've taken where you can know a principle and still get it wrong.

Very hard class, do not take lightly. He is an awesome guy and pretty funny! If you visit his office hours he helps a lot. He is very fair and clear, but the test cover a lot and are very challenging. If you're up for a challenge, he will help you do well.

This class is tough! Do not take it lightly. However, if you complete the assigned problems and go to lecture you should do well in this class. He wants you to do well and he is big on giving partial credit. Lab is all open notebook, so take very detailed and neat notes! It is possible to do well in this class, but you have to be ready to work.

Dr. Z is a very nice man. He seems scary at first but once you get to know him he is very helpful and easy to talk to (go to his office hours!). I had him for 115 and 116 and got a B both semesters...although I studied at least 4 hours everyday. This is NOT and easy class so dont take it lightly.

At first he seems to be a joke but you realize he knows what he is talking about. He was always there when i needed help and would always tell us when or when not he could help us. The tests are based off of his power points that he gives you but you need to fill in some missing things. You get a lot of points by doing homework online. Good teacher

attendence is not mandatory: why? because he is unclear. the book is mandatory. why: because he is unclear and therefore you need SOMEONE to help you with the material. if you were good at chem in HS, I think you would do well. He is helpful and knowledgable, but soooo unclear.

Kind of hard to follow, but review the Power point notes he puts online, and you will do fine. He is an odd guy, but funny. He will help you and work with you. He tries to find ways to help the class. We weren't doing good with multiple choice tests, so he changed to open ended to try to boost us

Excellent Teacher. Would take again in a heartbeat. Helped students with anything they needed, even held study sessions every week to answer questions above and beyond class. Interested in students future. Friendly. Covers material creatively in class (though there is a lot of notetaking which is to be expected). Down to earth guy. Highly recommend

Great guy! Pretty funny too. May be hard to follow, but not if you follow along with him. Uses power point notes that he gives you for lecture.... tests are right from the notes.... notes are right from the book. I'd recommend him!

Dr. Z is great. Loves his students and puts in extra time for them. How many other teachers will have an evening review session every week? If the class is struggling, he steps back and reviews again.
