Personal opinion: He is a nice guy...people might find him "unique" but to me he is funny :p...He does help a lot. His homeworks are VERY VERY hard...Advice: STUDY STUDY STUDY go to him, he is willing to help a lot. Do the homework. I mean his class is hard I dont know what kind of advice I can give you...Go to him for help!!!

Taking a class with him right now. Great guy, very funny, veeeery sharp. Always willing to help his students, but fromw hat I'm seeing he tends to ride you pretty hard when assignments come due. He's always interested in other student's projects, but from what I've found he doesn't always have the answers to questions from other professor's classes. Has a slight tendency to talk above the heads of some of his students.

Yes, he does tend to like some students over others, but I don't believe he illustrates it in his grading. The numbers he gives are high all around as long as you try to try to make an effort and/or show up for most classes.
