Dr. DeOllos knows what she is talking about and is funny without even trying. The class overall is a relatively easy course, only a few assignments throughout the semester plus the group project which isn't as bad as it sounds.

Dr. D is wonderful and so knowledgeable! She has a passion for her work like you wouldn't believe! She helps you realize the things you already know, but maybe haven't though about and teaches you more. Classes are discussion based and she is there to help in any way she can. She is laid back, kind, & hilarious! She is my favorite professor at BSU

Dr. D is an excellent teacher and knows all of her subject matters well. She uses her own life examples as well as current events to teach. She has a way of teaching about Globalization to an extent that you don't realize she is teaching you. Her class discussions are very involved and fun! I recommend her 100%! I only got a B+ because I was lazy.

Her class was amazing. It was student driven and there was much discussion and debate that went on in the class. The 4 biggest grades are group projects and movie reflections, all of which she grades easily, especially the group project (presentation only needed to be 3 min.). Amazing class. She has a way of teaching you without you knowing it.

Dr. D is such a chill lady with a passion for her job. She's hilarious without even trying. Sometimes I'm not quite sure what's going on, but that just makes the experience more interesting.

THIS IS A HORRIBLE CLASS! She may know her stuff but her grading makes her absolutely ridiculous! Her grading is seriously impossible and doesn't make sense. Basically you have to constantly repeat yourself many many many times to get to her level of satisfaction for explanations... Attendance is a whatever in this class. HORRIBLE AND BORING!!!!

I really enjoyed my class with this professor. The key to getting As is just to make sure you answer all her questions in your essays. She is very open to opinions and discussion in class. I recommend this class, however I have herd worse things about other classes, if that's the case I think it might be the content, not the teacher.

She does not know how to grade, I am a straight A student and could not manage to get an A on any of her assignments. Not because they are hard, but because she marks you off for things she never even asked for in the descriptions for assignments. Horrible. Class as a whole is also extremely boring. Avoid her at all costs

Great class discussion, with a genuine interest in the subject. But her grading is ridiculous. I took this class as a senior, in my last semester and I was failing papers. In my own dept, I was being nominated for writing awards... Even after help it was diff to determine her requirements. Direct info from notes/book was still counted wrong. HARD!

For the social movements class, she gave 2 options. The paper or participating in a social movement. Do NOT do the paper option. The grading is really tough and you will not get the grade you want. If you do the social movement, you'll most likely get a 100 on all the papers. Class was interesting and she's very knowledgeable.

Dr. D is a very smart lady. Class is interesting and discussion based. She is a tough grader, so don't try to b.s. your way though the assignments. The book wasn't necessary. She gives you slides with blanks to fill in. Awesome class!

Dr D is super easy. Class is dull but she doesn't take attendance and you can get a good grade without going too often or paying attention. Assignments can all be turned in online. We didn't have any tests, just assignments and 3-4 page papers. I even turned in my final late and she didn't dock me. Kind of boring, but very easy and nice.

gives you the powerpoint notes with several blanks. i skipped a few weeks in a row, still got an A. you can turn in all assignments via email so you never even have to go to class. never bought the book. grading is a bit tough. class did not meet my expectations.

Took 228 and 402 with her. First off, she is a very nice woman and incredibly intelligent. However her grading stinks, she grades way too hard. In order to succeed plan on explaining, explain your explanations, and explain the explanations of the explanations to be safe. She will write why or explain many times. She does proof-read papers though.

I took theory with this lady, they are right lot of work, too much i think that is the point of thoery to think things out.......good luck, busted my bum off working for this class, got only one A on any assignment, the rest low B, careful on the paper towards the end, failed the paper got a C+

I had her for theory, and I absolutely hated the class. I think she had unrealistic expectations for her students. Theory in general just sucks, but it's required, and she's the only person recently who's been teaching it. Be prepared to see the word "why" on your papers 30 times. Elaborate like you've never elaborated before. All the time.
