Mansur takes a tough subject and breaks it down to make it understandable. He's there to help if you ask for it but he makes you work for your grade too. If you don't go to class then you will probably fail because all of the material on the exams is in the lectures. Overall a great professor.

He assumed I knew way more than I do about finance. The lectures can seem overwhelming at times with all the data but in class he wasn't too bad. However, he gave way too much work to do outside of class and a lot of the subject matter he didn't address in class. He was off and on with collecting homework which was irritating.

This teacher is very serious about finance. If you are motivated to do well in the field take this professor. He will challenge you and you will learn a great deal about the industry. Also, Mansur is great with job placement and well connected in the industry.

In my opinion - this guy is a terrible teacher. The worst teacher I've yet to have in undergrade or grad school. You will spend over 50hours doing a mid term and final for a 1.5hr credit course. I hope I never see him ever again.

Prof Mansur was inflexible. He had a set approach and didn't really care to alter it. His teaching method was to cover only those topics that students had questioned via email prior to class. If he rec'd three questions, then class may only take 1 hour. Sounds great at first, but students were responsible for all material, whether covered or not.

the WORST teacher I've EVER had, and that says a lot. I had to teach myself what little I learned, didn't do well in his class and ended up dropping it, he didn't care at all. I thought I had bad teachers before, but none of them are even close to how bad he is!
