Dr. D'Amico was alright. He was a nice guy who wasn't much of a stickler when grading papers. However, there were only a few assignments all year so each assignment is worth a lot of points. His other problem is that he tends to speak in a somewhat boring way on a topic that is already boring enough. Hero and Leander? Really?

Im sorry but I problem with had a problem with him. He is very nice and wants to help but I found the class useless and felt that I learned nothing at all. I felt that I was in high school. I suppose if you want an easy english class its good, but I was hoping for something more challenging and productive.

You've gotta be into Shakespeare to take this class, but D'Amico's a good guy. The tangents he tends to trail off on are rather amusing. Quickly moves through material, but if you do the reading & participate, there should be no problem.

He made me feel very welcome at Canisius. He is a very nice guy and is always there to review your paper with you. I would highly suggest taking him. He does tend to talk about Italy ALOT but if you block that out its a great class. Take him.
