I love Dr. Bednarz, he makes the class really fun and really informative. He's always really excited and answered questions thoroughly and not in a way that made you feel dumb for asking questions. He's really good.

Dr. Bednarz is an overall ok teacher. He crams all the material and it gives you little time to prepare for the exams. He bases attendance of clicker questions. The clicker questions are taught the day of and if you miss the question, you don't get the full points. The lectures don't go into detail either, he just reads the material off the slides.

Good professor but sometimes tends to cram chapters in before an exam. He may finish one chapter and start another one the same day so attendance is important. Test are kind of tough but studying the notes is essential. Rarely will he give curves or extra points. If you enjoy biology he won't be too bad but if not you might have a tough time

At UNT I have never had a professor be so rude and condescending during lecture. During classes he, on multiple occasions, spent the last 10 minutes of his lecture yelling at the class because some student left, and then during the final he referred to the students at 'children'. If you want to pay for disrespectful, rude, and unhelpful this is it.

I am taking this professor's environmental science course at UNT and he is one of the worst professor i have ever had. Not only is he completely biased on view points, but he is unclear of expectations and is the hardest grader I have ever had. Do not take a course with this professor or you will be frustrated and annoyed for an entire semester.

Rude, overbearing, unhelpful, and just plain useless of a professor. I want to be a teacher, and having to sit though this class is agonizing. Rambles about birds, and his own work. Test have nothing to do with the material he presents. Thankfully, the lab is well organized, and the lab instructors know what they're doing. How sad.

he is new at UNT AND HARD. 4.0 students making C's. He comments that this is a freshman class and our grade average is normal. How about helping out the freshman to be successful? Until one student pushed and asked, he would NOT provide test review and the tests are HARD. The review listed EVERYTHING in the book, so no help at all.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST PROFESSOR IN THE WORLD. Avoid him at all costs! All he talks about is birds, and then tests you on pointless stuff that's not included in his lectures or PowerPoints (which are at minimum 90 slides per chapter).

Great teacher, credit to the univ. Genuine: cares about & is active in the subject feild. Wants students to engage with it, too.
