Lectures the whole time, doesn't involve the class at all. Assigns a group debate at the end of the semester and it's all out of class work, except no one knows anyone. Tests you on things he didn't tell you to study. Extremely hard class.

Extremely hard. He gives you a study guide before exams and then tests you on stuff not on the study guide. Gives extra credit assignments before each exam. Doesn't involve the class and just lectures the whole time. You just sit there and listen to him read off the slides the whole class. Not a fun class.

Love this class, it is my 2nd class with him. I think he is the best teacher at KU. Very informed, keeps it extremely interesting with multiple books and films. Tests aren't the easiest, but you can't have everything! This is my favorite class. He is inspiring.

Before taking this class i heard anthropology was hard and boring. Mr Delle was a great professor with alot of energy and kept me awake and interested for the 3 hour class. He made me like this course so much that i would take it again if i didnt already get a B. If you take anthro take Delle, you'll have a great time

I love this professor! He's the best! To get an easy good grade just GO TO CLASS and PAY ATTENTION (even to the movies!!). I didnt even do any of the reading, all I did was stay alert in class and I got an easy A. Fun class!

The key to getting A's on his tests is preparing for essays. Come up with questions you think he'll ask and as long as you do well on the essays, you'll get a good grade on the rest of the test. The great thing is, he's a VERY FAIR grader. The only reason I got A's on my tests is cause I did good on essays
