Class participation was weird, he'd always say you were wrong if you didnt say exactly word for word what was in his mind.. so we stopped answering questions. Kind of an oddball, not my favourite prof, but if you had a legitimate question and you actually tried he would help you

Horrible at teaching microcontrollers. Im sure he knows in his mind what is going on, but unless you have any previous experience with PICs prior to this class, you WILL have a rough time, Chartrand should teach this course.
