Quirky but brilliant man. He does make you think, but he is such a good teacher. Go to his office hours! Do your homework, because his tests are inspired by hw problems. If you put the effort in, you'll be fine.

Best math teacher I have ever had. He is hilarious and actually teaches the subject extremely well. Tests were pretty easy for a diffeq class. Only complaint is that in every hw section he has the problem at the end which noone knows how to do or cares to do. Overall, best math teacher ive ever had, TAKE HIM

He was an amazing math teacher, probably the best one I have had here at UF. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He teaches very well and goes through examples thoroughly. Also, he always makes himself easily available for extra help, and he actually cares about his students learned the material. He was an absolutely great teacher.

His class is much more difficult than other sections. Be sure to put in a lot effort. Definitely do your homework and make sure answers are correct, he randomly collects hw. Quizzes and tests are doable. His final was SOOO hard even though I studied for literally 10 hrs. I barely got an A so I'm happy yayy:D

Great teacher who answers emails and has office hours several times a week. However expect to cover more difficult material than other sections and have it featured prominently on tests and finals. No curve and the class average sits around 2.0. Great class for learning calculus but not so much if you care about your GPA

Maissen is the MAN! He honestly cares about the students and loves math. His class is really easy going and he's a really nice guy. If you honestly do your homework, you will do extremely well on his quizzes and tests. If you want a fair, knowledgeable professor that will actually care about you as a student and your learning, take Maissen.

Sad to say but this guy was the best professor I had in my time at UF. The reason why this is sad is because I hate math. He explains everything extremely well, doesn't move on until everyone understands. He is very helpful, go to his office hours. His shirts are very funny, and he can explain such a difficult subject like math with ease.

This guy is a great teacher, he has a quirky mannerism that makes the class almost fun. He very clear and predictable. Quiz questions usually come from homework and test question sometimes come from quizzes or homework. He's also a gives a lot of partial credit, totally recommend him.

He was a really fun guy to listen to. He explains each problem thoroughly and doesn't leave anything out. He is an awesome TA and if you don't understand something in class, you can always go to his office hours, they help. His quizzes were harder than most. I usually got between a 3 to a 5 out of 6 on them. I recommend him.

The guy knows his stuff and he just loves math, but I'll warn you. He has the HARDEST QUIZZES of ANY TA!!! I got 3 out of 6 on almost all of them. and it's a big part of why I got a B in the class. He has the dorkiest math shirts everyday and definitely go to his office hours. He definitely has favorites. good luck

This was the best math teacher I have had at UF. I would HIGHLY recommend taking any math class that he teaches. Classes were not boring, you could understand what he was teaching, and you knew exatly what and when to expect everything. I loved the class because of the teacher.
