Comment:

At first the stimulation is very confusing and most teams do bad but if you do a little research you can get an edge. My team got second and it was actually fun competing. The quizzes are T and F. So easy but you have to do the readings which are long thats why a lot of people fail the quizzes. Overall good class.

I feel like he hasn't taught us anything about business. The game is cool and you learn a little from that, but I don't think I've learned much about business. Make sure you e-mail him if you're late to class or if you're absent because he will take points away from your teams score if you don't.

Very easy class, lectures are very boring and the simulation is confusing at the beginning, but after a couple rounds unless you're really stupid you'll get the hang of it. Only 1 person per group needs excel so if you don't have it don't worry someone else will, plus if you ask him a question he tells you exactly what you need to do.

He is a nice guy but as my first class freshman year I was a little confused as to what was expected of us. I had fun doing the game that we do in class for the whole semester but I didnt really get the point because this class did not really teach me anything about business.

Pretty easy class, just go and do the work.. its all in class, very easy business simulation, you have to pay to register for the online portion, but the other books along with it arent expensive, jst mk sure u have updated excel.

The teachers are not helpful. Too much of the work is done on capsim.com and blackbaord. You need a current edition of Excel ($200) and to sign up for capsim ($40), which can make this class very expensive. This should not be a required class.

I had this class for the Capsim thing.I would like to write USM and get my $300 and whatever amount of hours of my life i wasted in this class back. Anyone with the smallest amount of common sense can do the stupid simulation. Class time was not profitable and I can seriously say I will be suprised if I learned anything.

He is smart, approachable, and shows reasonable concern for student's performance. Likes to qualify his business knowledge as being limited to smaller business. That will be the excuse if is his simulation advice goes foul for you.
