She reads her powerpoint presentation from the start of class until the minute the class ends. She's very knowledgeable, but she doesn't teach the material very well. Knowing all the information presented in the chapters and notes earns you a low B on tests (luckily, they're multiple choice). Labs are ok and extra credit opportunities are given.

This woman meant business. People dropped this class like flies because she did not play games. I thought she was evil, but came to realize that she just was just serious about her job. I reccomend not taking her if you want to be lazy.

I learned how to study when I took Dr.Burse's class. It was difficlt, and a lot of WORK, but she prepared me for the sr comps and the MCAT!!!!!

Dr Burse was always there to help, even with my personal problems. She does not play around, thou, and she did let anyone get away with anything- that's probably why she was disliked by so many slackers!!!!

Burse teaches from the simple guide Jacqueline Hunter provides for all of the entry level biology classes, which makes her seem "easy". She has a horrible attitude that needs adjusting! Ella es una bruja negra!

I loved Dr. Burse's Biodiversity class. She was very good at explaining the information and made the class as interesting as possible. I received an A out of her course and I couldn't be more pleased.
