Professor Jeffrey Jackson died yesterday, losing a three year struggle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Melinda, and his two daughters, Roxanne and Ellie, alol of whom loved him dearly. He was one of the most compassionate and intelligent people I have ever known, beloved by friends, family, and students alike. I will miss him dearly.

Only J.J. can make insurance law fun. While he is intimidating and demanding, he is by far the greatest and most effective professor I've had. And contrary to what he says in class (with great comedic sarcasm), he actually cares about the students and their performance. He sets the standard by which all professors should be judged!

Best professor I have ever had. He is tough but teaches effectively. Preparedness is essential as this class is one where Socratic method is used extensively yet effectively. He likes students who can smartly provide counter examples along with the right answer in class.
