she assign so much work on top of each other, and kept changing the syllabus as she went along. very unorganized, doesn't post grades on assignments to canvas, (what's the point in using canvas and not post our grades?). too many presentations for this course, she probably thought this was a public speaking class. i would advise you to not take her

She was not necessarily a terrible teacher, but it was by no means my favorite class. The way she explained things was very confusing and we would have to ask several times for her to repeat the instructions. We also did a useless project that had nothing to do with our major.

Mrs. Jen is super nice!! But, her class is very extra for a public speaking class. SO MUCH HOMEWORK! Do not take her unless this is the only class you take. She seriously gives so much pointless work and makes you redo it at least 3 times for very stupid reasons. Also loses track of work all the time. Definitely would not take her again.

Oh my god, do not take her. I am taking her online interpersonal communication class, and I have constant--almost daily--homework. It's like she thinks this is the only class I'm taking. This is the first class I have ever seriously considered withdrawing from. I repeat--do not take her.

Dr. Jenn was a great teacher. I'm not a terrible speaker but I was a little timid coming into the class. She was very clear on her expectations for the class and imparted me with some great public speaking skills. She was extremely kind (let students borrow textbooks) and focused on helping her students succeed.

She was very unclear in directions. Took forever to respond to emails. She has a ton of work that is due by 8:00 in the morning. You'll have two papers; informative and persuasive. Both will have presentations. I recommend NOT taking this class online! The class itself is not hard, but the work is time consuming and can be very stressful.

Really long assignments with crazy directions. Discussion posts are like entire novels and the tests are literally you defining every concept from a chapter in a long document. I didn't have to write this much in my English Comp class, and that's saying something. Really sweet teacher though, and she's helpful with direction if you need it.

Mine as well take public speaking because the workload is outrageous for being a one credit couse. I literllay had to log on everyday to do assignments that had nothing to do with basic speaking and listening. If possible do the three credit course or pick a different professor. She 's very strict and takes her job very seriously.

I took a summer class with her. The work was tough, but such is the class. She was very helpful when needed. She also made it very fun. Besides working on my speeches there was no homework. She asked in class to read certain chapters of the textbook, but that's not necessary to do well in the class. Over all, a good teacher.

Awesome!! Dr. Jen is funny leniant and will go out of her way to help her students. Did i say funny because she really does make the class fun. I was a little nervous going in but she helped me get through and i came out with 100 percent in the class.

Took her Public Speaking class online. Writing the outlines for speeches got annoying, but it was much better doing it online. However, you DO have to post videos of you online, so if that makes you uncomfortable, don't pick this class online. She was REALLY cool though. She was fun and super nice, and had a great sense of humor.

Amazing, funny, and very helpful, she makes the class enviorment relaxing. if you skip class you will be a little lost the next class time, but she will explain everything you need.
