Comment:

One of the worst teachers I've ever had. She spends the whole time teaching her extreme liberal opinions rather than the facts. There's no distinguishing fact from opinion with her. If you're a liberal and are not interested in thinking for yourself, you'll be okay. If you don't agree with her liberal views, you'll hate the class and probably fail.

Dr. Mazza is one of the best professors at Ramapo! She is very helpful and always had a genuine concern for her students. That being said, she is unfortunately retiring at the end of the spring semester, so if you're lucky enough to have her for this upcoming semester, you will love her class.

Greatest Professor I have ever had. Have to read the text inside and out, and study hard for midterm and final. She will help you with anything and is very understanding. Will help you with whatever you need. MUST TAKE HER!!

Prof Mazza is a great teacher. her class is really laid back and easy. had her for my FYS in the AIS school she is a pretty easy grader and allows as many redos as you want!! she was always available to meet and always responded to my emails. and she even wrote me a rec-letter. overall, she is great cant wait to take more of her classes

True Mazza definitely let's you know about her political views. Right or wrong, she does have a "set you straight" attitude as someone mentioned earlier. Relies heavily on the textbook for your grade and yet spends very little time on the text in class. Also is not very clear about the expectations for papers/tests. 2 movies, semi-optional final.

I took Mazza for political seminar...she imposes her extremely liberal views onto her students...praised obama the entire semester while denouncing governor christie. she is a tough grader and the class was basically political theory all over again. I was happy I only had to take her once as a poli sci major.

Hard teacher who is extremely liberal. She spends 1/4 of the time in class lambasting the Catholic Church and conservatives. The woman should not be teaching. Also, SHE DOES NOT BELIEVE IN REVIEW! Expect to be on your own for tests and examinations. Perhaps, it can be argued that she is the least helpful professor in the Political Science major.

Jen is great. she will challenge you and you can learn A LOT in her class, both in terms of the material and how to write and different ways to think. One of the best at Ramapo. She is also one of the few professors who is rooted in the real world and is not a whining liberal. She only teaches poli sci seminar, but take that!

I had her for several poli sci classes. She is a fair teacher that expected much out of her students. She challenged us, especially in the Political Theory class. I enjoyed her classes, and admired her knowledge. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
