Dr. Boothby-Schriver is a wonderful professor. Her tests are hard (for me) and include essays. She is a very helpful person and is willing to help you if you ask. I recommend this professor to all those in the Psych/Crim programs

Comment:

She was very helpful when I had her for abnormal psychology and gives out extra credit opportunities. Take advantage of it. It is true that her exams are hard, but don't let that scare you. Just remember to read the chapters before class and she will ask the class some things in the chapter. I would high recommend this professor :-)

One of the nicest professors I have ever had. Engage students in class and always welcomes their input. She knows the material very well and has had many work experiences related to the material so she is filled with lots of stories and more than willing to share them. Take a class with her every opportunity you get!

Tests are difficult. READ THE BOOK! She has a lot of great stories from her past work experience. Very helpful. Respects the students and their opinions on how she uses her time in class. She always welcomes the students inputs! Not an easy class; but she makes it fun.

Dr. Boothby is an amazing teacher. She is willing to help you no matter what she is very flexible. Her tests are hard but she tells you what is going to be on them. She was also my advisor and helped me out a ton. I would recommend her to anyone interested in psychology or just wanting to learn something new. Take her classes!!!

Very approachable & shows concern for student wellfare. A tough grader & has high expectancies. One major complaint is that she takes an extreme amount of time to return papers (she under estimates the time it will take to return things), which was frustrating affected my ability to make progress & complete later assignments
