Comment:

Jenny was a great teacher. She does a lot of long critiques, but if you participate in discussion you can draw everything out of her and the class. She is such as inspirational and motivating individual and her class assignments push the boundaries of what can be accomplished in the classroom.

Comment:

Jenny is so sweet as a person but strict as a professor. Critiques sometimes can be too long but you definitely learn a lot by participating in group discussions. Most of the projects are graphic design based and fun. The best thing about Jenny is that she is always so encouraging and acceptant, she is by far my favorite professor!

Comment:

Jenny is sweet, she knows her stuff and is well traveled. Dont need the brand new 6x9 Coloraid but still need coloraid. Gives you class time to do assignments but instructions can be confusing so ask questions. Likes you to go back and fix tiny details of your work. Prefers handmade to digital. LOOOOONG crits so someone should be the timer.

Jenny spends a long time on critiques and on project explanation. She cares a lot about the work you create in her class, and will try to give you a wholesome critique on your work, even if you just did it the night before. First semester was Color Aid and painting heavy, but she lets you explore digital mediums second semester.

McNutt, is a generally nice person, but has crazy mood swings, one time some kid bought the wrong alizarin crimson and she cussed him out. Her directions are usually convoluted and vague. Critiques can take up to six hours and she changes lunch hour randomly. I have improved you have to work for that A.

Very sweet woman who has a unique view on things. Very willing to help and check in on how your doing, but her advice can be contradicting to itself. Did have several critiques that took half the class (3 hours) and went nowhere.

Jenny is the best. She is passionate about art and teaching. Truly an amazing and inspiring person. She is eccentric not gonna lie but she is fun. (the people who rate her down are most likely the people who dont put good effort into her class and assignments)

She is wonderful. When rushed her instructions leave the class with a great deal of difficulty in understanding the assignment, but it is nice to see the variety of perceptions, and she always give you the chance to constantly fix and improve your work, while giving a worldly response. The heavy workload is worthwhile. Great class overall!

Jenny Lynn is the nicest. A lot of work is given in this class, but it may be necessary to grasp important concepts. Studio time is given during class to work on hw assignments. Critiques can be long and monotonous, sometimes helpful. Really lenient about absences. I feel that this is the most important and beneficial class I have taken thus far.

Her projects don't really teach you, but rather are meant to be fun and creative and perhaps too advanced for some students at that early stage. I personally think the projects are kind or random, but some of the projects were ones I really liked. She's a mixed bag, but I might take her again. She's nice and easy once you get used to her.

To be blunt, this woman has a hard time teaching. Or she's just really bad at it. She is terrible at explaining things and then gets angry if you ask her to repeat anything. Oh and she'd much rather be teaching painting, so that's what she turned our LCD class into. She's nice and smart tho. Just terrible at teaching. Too bad.

She is a little eccentric, but I admire her creativity and her take on life. She was definitely my favorite freshman prof. and I feel I learned a lot from her class alone. She gave good critiques and had a true love for art and was inspired enough to deal with stupid freshman and try and teach it to them. If I could take her again, I would. But she is on sabbatical right now and only teaches freshman classes anyway. She is more helpful in teaching than some of my profs. now and I'm a senior. She has 5 stars

Great!I really learned a lot & she's really inspiring. She makes inciteful comments and sometimes you may not like it, but it really gets you to think and open your eyes. Yes, she is really wacky, but in a genuinly good way. So if you want a regular and unexciting teacher than don't take her.
