i took both western civs with him and managed As in both. he is a hard teacher but he does genuinely care about his students and his subject. he has great stories and loves talking during office hours. i definitely recommend his classes, youll learn a lot

Great teacher! Cares about the students success and loves the subject. Just take notes and do your packets and you'll be fine. He really takes a special interest in every student. Definitely one of my favorite classes and I would take it again in a heartbeat!!

casway is really hard. i REALLY struggled in my classes with him. but he's such a nice guy and he's really enthusiastic and knows his stuff. he really cares about his students. maybe it's easier if you care at all about history haha.

Wonderful teacher! Loves what he is teaching, well animated, draws the students in and makes you enjoy the topic! He goes above and beyond to help you get the grade you desire and to succeed. Really cares about his students understanding and doing well!

I was a freaking History major, but got C's in his classes. Good guy, likes what he teachers, just boring. and I hated taking tests! But, I got a BA in History and graduated with a 3.8 and am a member of Phi Alpha Theta!! So there!

Great guy, BORING classes. Can barely stay wake. Tests usually have a few surprises on them. He always wants MORE DETAILS when you write, no matter how many details you give. AVOID TAKING HIS CLASSES.
