Great teacher! Can offer a world-view for Am. Lit. and helps you understand the literature better. As a business major, I was very nervous about taking her class. Most ENG proffs blab on just about literature, but her class was History and how it is reflected through lit.

Good luck to any sucker who enrolls in this instructor's class. Dr. is very educated and extremely critical of student writings. Unrealistic when accepting student writing styles as their own. Plan to spend all your semester focusing on this class and readings that she has assigned. Does not ease up on amout of work for summer courses. :O(

Great Porfessor, real smart, intelligent and enthusiastic about the readings and encourages discussions and debates in the classroom. But extremely too much reading and expects real long essays which is good if you want to be a writer and if you want a mind challenging class but definately not an easy A.

I took her for an American Literature class and she was very concerned with how students performed in her class. She took attendance and always told the class ahead of time if quizzes or test would be offered. Make sure you write good papers and read the stories she gives for homework.

This was an awful class. She gives way to many assignments. Plus, there are three papers and a final research paper, and she is SUPPOSED to return them to give you her comments, but I only recieved one of my papers back throughout the entire semester. Don't take it if you don't have to!!

The saying that a professor can make or break your grade is very true. As a student majoring in the English language, I was almost brought down by this professor. I made all A's in my English classes prior to enrolling in her class. Final is comprehensive not in literature please. I had to drop her.

This class was HORRIBLE! Way, Way, Way too much work. Unfortunately I took this class in the summer and boy was I sorry. The material we were given was a bunch radical propaganda that was more political than English work. Not a good experience at all.

She has unrealistic expectations & she assigns an enormous amount of work. Sheis not able to keep up with grading her assignments. On the two assingments I did get back from her, she wrote the exact same, bizarre comment. She provides no feedback. Awful.

I didn't learn anything in this class as I had hoped to. While I found her nice she didn't ever give feedback or grade papers. We didn't have any grades until the 4th week of a 5 week semester and she never gave back 3 of 5 papers. Huge waste of time!
