Is quite knowledgable, but I found this class very dry. This class was definitely the icing on the cake for my decision to switch out of SPMA. Not her fault, but I did not find her class engaging at all. It probably has to do with the fact this was an intro class, but still...

Joanne knows alot about everything and has great experiance with what she teaches. She's willing to help you out whenever she can but will not give marks away for sucking up. You must be prepared for her class and come to all of the lectures

I think she's a fabulous professor! She definitely changed my conception of qualitative research. It's a shame only intelligent students appreciate her intellect and superb teaching abilities!

I must start off by saying studying for your exams are like treating hemroids. They rarely relate to anything you teach in class. Is this your way of helping us!! Lose the attitude and maybe a couple of pounds while youre at it!!
