This is an intelligent professor who possesses great knowledge and is always enthusiastic about chemistry. Makes people want to learn more. Lets just say if you get an A from 1 out of 2 of the exams he gives, then you'll get an A in the class and u wont have to take the Final. Has interesting stories. Exam based on Notes so make sure u come to his lectures and takes notes. Everything else is pretty much self explanatory. As long as you TRY you'll get an A... its as simple as that.

This course has been the toughest for me and boy I was lucky to pass with a C because I don't understand a thing about his teaching. All the notes, hw, reading, I had put in this class has been useless. His test are extremely difficult but he does curve quite a bit. I fail his exams because I dont even get the materials but I got a C. whewww.

Chem was my favorite subject. I thought that taking this class would be cake since he does grade on an extreme curve. nope. ruined it. He's a nice guy, horrible teacher. Nothing really in the book can help u, he can't help u, so ur pretty much screwed. good luck if u have him.

he is a great guy with great stories. Only thing is his test are way to hard. so youll have to learn the material by yourself pretty much. I skiped about half of the lectures becasue they didnt really help much. just read the book and you should be able to pass.

He's a nice, funny guy, but the tests are so unbelievably difficult that it's really pretty sad. You're pretty much sacraficing your first test, because you don't know what he wants until after it. You do learn a lot, you just have to pay attention.

Prof Thomas expects a lot from his students. He expects you to use the information he gives in class, with the examples and information in the book and apply it to harder questions. I got a B by studying the examples in the book and class. He does get off track by his stories but he is a good guy

He is a really nice guy and has lots of funny stories to tell. He'll make u laugh, but then you'll cry bec the class is so unbelievably difficult. His tests are incredibly hard. Only three and he drops lowest one and grades on a curve. i went to every class, studied 4 hrs per test and barely got a C

He's an Okay teacher. He explains the topic but isn't very clear on it. But the good side...if you pass the first two tests and are satisfied with your grade you don't have to take the final. Plus--he's a really nice guy, he's entertaining, and he will definately make you laugh!

This professor was alrighty. Theres hardly any hw work(like 1 percent) and we dont even use the book at all..so the book is pretty much pointless. His lectures are really good, but his tests are freakin hard. If it wasn't for the curved exams i dont think i would of passed the class!!

he always talks about FUNNY but irrelevant stories of his explosions in his lecture... and NEVER taught us anything how to really solve his problems. TESTS are KRAZY hard. and it's impossible to copy down what he scribbles on the board. don't take him if you want to keep your GPA
